Bungie Confirms Working on a MMO Action Game

Last month when we talked about the Bungie's MMOFPS rumor you may think that it's still too early. But today, the rumor becames fact as Bungie confirms at GDC that they are working on an MMO.

But some details about the MMO given by the anonymous source last month are wrong, or inaccurate. For example, the game is claimed to be a "WoW in space", but Bungie's lead network engineer David Aldridge denied the saying specifically. Another difference is that the game is described by Bungie as a massively multiplayer action game, instead of the MMOFPS claim in the rumor.

And it's also confirmed by Bungie that the MMO won't be based on Halo universe, and the game will be published by their partner Activision. The name of Bungie's next-gen MMO hasn't been announced. "Destiny", is it a cool name?
