In comparison with the past years, the Korean game industry will fluctuate more violently in 2011. The first quarter of 2011 may go on relatively smoothly, but from the second quarter, game companies will stampede to release their new titles and even started to share the market ambitiously since the beginning of this year.

First of all, NHN, NCsoft and CJ Internet have taken the lead in releasing high-quality TERA, Aion 2.5 and Mstar respectively. In the second half of the year, Blade & Soul, Guild Wars 2 and other games with unique graphics are set to come out. Those games have certain things in common, e.g. they all involve large investments, render distinguishing high-quality graphics and have a strong appeal to players.

To march into the music game market, CJ Internet has published Mstar, which is developed by Nurien based on Unreal Engine 3 and has surprisingly excellent graphics.

In-game characters are portrayed more meticulously and vividly, looking like real-life stars. A good sense of reality and lighting effect are achieved, as well.
