- Summary: Let me get to the point quickly here, after playing the game for some days I manage to take glimpse on what the game is about. In short the game is about the DC franchise, so you can expect to see Batman, Superman, The Joker, Lex Luthor and a few others… but other guys, like Spiderman and X-Men are out of the playground...

DCUO it's about super heroes or villains, as usual the good guys trying to get the bad guys into Arkham Asylum and the bad guys try to break the city into pieces. The only difference is that now some strange alien by the name of Brainiac wants conquer... wait... He wants to assimilate earth and add it into his domain, I am not sure what exactly he wants but it looks like he really have an itch against the earth.
The first thing that I notice was the character creator, not because is the first thing the player in any mmo use but it is because it's a curious character creator. The game doesn't give you a lot of options like in APB, Star Trek Online or Aion but it have some other features that a lot of games don't have.
The character creator instead of throwing a bunch of appearance customization options, the game offer only a limited amount of customization when it comes to your character appearance. It's not so flexible as the other games but is good enough to give you an heroic or villainous look... Stuff like the hair color, the skin, the clothing and a few other minor cosmetic details help your silhouette to look sleek and on the line.
This is probably because the developers want to keep things practical and not exaggerated. If you ask me this can be a good thing because the game actually focuses on what kind of roll you want to take, your powers tree, your movement style, the mentor that is going to help you and such, after that you select a basic heroic costume and you are ready to go. As you get more equipment you can edit your look. Here you can have one cool item and edit its appearance on the fly...
