Jason Lim from GamePrix expressed that Divine Soul would present players with an uplifting combat mode similar to that in "Tekken", and would try to endow its controls with Kinect's motion capture support.

As Jason described, Divine Soul will not only support joypad like other console games, they are also considering adding Kinect support. He said: "Kinect will soon be available as a new controller, so it might be supported like joy pad mode in the future. Currently in Microsoft, there are many game companies that are trying to apply for this system."
