- Summary: World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Expansion Pack has finally been released, new and old players alike are rejoicing over Blizzard's latest addition to their MMO Franchise. An expansion such as this one is extremely hard to review and compress into one article, and can never be truly justified by doing so, but let's give it a shot anyways. I will try cut down on this review by posting informative links where a wall of text is not necessary.

World of Warcraft: Cataclysm Review (Part 1)
New High-Level Zones
Besides the revamped zones, there are 6 new High-Level zones for players to explore. These zones are all very breathtaking and each comes with their own storyline to follow and immerse a player for countless hours.
Vashj'ir
Just off the western coast of Khaz Modan and south east of the Maelstrom lies a new levelling zone. Vashj'ir is a levelling zone for toons level 80-82. This zone implements new mechanics for questing underwater, as well as some combat changes. Players will fight off the advancing attack of the Naga who are trying to seize power in the zone, as well as venture into a new five-man dungeon named Throne of the Tides.
Mount Hyjal
A long awaited zone for many veteran players, Mount Hyjal serves as a level 80-82 levelling zone for players. With heavy use of the phasing zone mechanics, this area is also very in-depth with story. On the left we have Ragnaros for a big comeback, trying to destroy the World Tree. On the right we have Malfurion Stormrage returning from the Emerald Dream to command the Cenarion Army aka Guardians of Hyjal.
This zone is heavily phased, with both the whole zone and parts of the terrain. This makes for an enjoyable experience (and preferred place to knock out those initial post-80 levels). Mount Hyjal is home to the following dungeon, although it has not yet been implemented into the game:
Firelands (NYI) Level 85+, 10/25 man
Deepholm
Once players have hit level 82 (or higher) and have moved on from either Mount Hyjal or Vashj'ir (or both) they progress forward to the Deepholm. This place was where Deathwing was brought back to full power and made his entrance once again into Azeroth. This zone is where players will level to 83. A zone with countless tunnels and caves, a rocky surface and home to many new mobs. There is currently an Alliance gunship flying above the zone, but the Horde gunship has been shot down providing a new quest chain. This zone will be the new hub for daily quests. Deepholm is home to the World Pillar and also the following dungeon:
The Stonecore 82-84 5 man
