MMOsite's 2010 Reader's Choice event kicked off almost two weeks ago, and it's already off to a fantastic start. Chances are that you've seen a link or an advertisement to the event on this site or some of your other favorite MMO gaming sites, but if you haven't checked out the event yet, now is the time to do it. MMOsite has hosted its Reader's Choice event for several years now, but this year's Reader's Choice is a very special one. Why? Because this year, to celebrate 5 years of operation and to thank its loyal readers, MMOsite is giving away some crazy surprises to anybody who participates in the event.

First of all, what is the Reader's Choice event? Quite simply, the staff has collected all of the hot and buzz worthy MMOs on the market, and they want to hear which games you think are the best - or which games are your personal favorites! You can vote however you'd like, as long as your voice is heard and you give your love to the games that you want to give your love to. The categories range from Most Anticipated MMO to Best New Game to Favorite MMOFPS to Best P2P game, and everything in-between. You can vote for which MMO has the best features, or just vote for the games you generally like. And participation is just that easy.

To participate, all you have to do is visit the 2010 Reader's Choice Award page and either pick the category you want to vote in, or use the Game Selector to find your favorite MMOs and register a vote for them in all the categories their nominated for. It's just that simple! And you can register up to three votes per category per day - every day, you can vote for the three games you think deserve the Best New Game award, and then your three favorite casual MMOs, all the way up to the end of the event.

The winners of the Reader's Choice Awards don't just get the support and gratitude of their gamers and fans. MMOsite will give the developers of the winning MMOs a beautiful crystal trophy, and will give its publishers special advertising for the rest of the year - which will look like this after it's completed.

And some publishers will return the favor (e.g. Dynasty Warriors Online) with special in-game boosts. So, choose your votes wisely!
