GC 2010 Got 250,000 Attendees and Became the Largest Game Convention

Gamescom 2010 just closed, successfully. This convention held in Cologne, Germany attracted 254,000 visitors, 505 exhibitors from 33 countries, and 4,400 media representatives from all around the world. All of those figures made Gamescom 2010 the largest convention for videogames and hardware. You can expect to see a more enjoyable Gamescom next year on August 17th, still in Cologne.
Sony was the big winner in Gamescom 2010. The company's racing game Gran Turismo 5 secured "Best of gamescom" and "Console games", two awards for videogame while its PlayStation Move won the "Hardware accessories" award. Guild Wars 2 beat Cataclysm and won the "Online games" award and Crysis 2 got "PC games" award.
