[GC 2010] SWTOR Releases the First Space Combat Gameplay Trailer

BioWare has 2 BIG games in Gamescom 2010, Dragon Age 2 and STAR WARS: The Old Republic. On the first day of Gamescom, Dragon Age 2 announces the release date and TOR reveals a trailer about space combat. Now get ready to start your own ships.

Star Wars: the Old Republic - Space Combat

Although BioWare doesn't allow you to fly your ships freely to everywhere, they still make a real universe instead of simply putting a dark space with some small stars. You can see the terrains of the planets and you will come across thousands of meteorolites and even crash on them. The combat itself won't let you down, too. Shooting the enemies when dodging the rocks and enjoying the typical STAR WARS sounds. Only one pity is that all space combat missions are single player instances.
