FFXIV Dated September, Pricing Model Announced

Hey, as of today, Final Fantasy XIV 's release date has finally been set! Ever since high expectations were set at E3 2009, Square Enix has uncovered this epic work step by step. Although the alpha has come up with several problems, all the things have gone back on track in its beta test. The great improvement from Alpha to Beta brings much player confidence for this game. Now we are excited to see that the Collector's Edition for the PC will officially launch on 22 September and the standard edition a week later in Europe on 30 September. Square Enix has also announced that the Collector's Edition for Final Fantasy XIV will be priced at $74.99. Players who order the Collector's Edition will be able to sign onto servers eight days before folks who get the standard $49.99 edition. Both versions include 30 days of free game time, with subsequent months priced at $12.99.

The Collector's Edition contains an exclusive in-game item - Onion Helm, which accelerates character recovery after falling in battle. It also includes a concept art book, a behind-the-scenes DVD and more.
