Star Wars: The Old Republic Closed Beta Test Starts This Weekend

Today, a thread regarding the closed beta information of Star Wars: the Old Republic was burned out on SWTOR forum. The poster Awran said that BioWare has send inviting e-mails for closed beta session from 6/25-6/27. A post added shortly afterward by markfly made further clarification that only 100-200 invitations are going out. The poster markfly is also the one who confirmed that he has got an invitation on the page 200+.

However, an early tester only means a pre-visit of the Star Wars universe and you may face a unfinished project with many many bugs. The situation just looks like the comment below.

At least if people don't get an invite this time, they'll have additional chances in the following weeks.

People who want to Beta test should ask them selves when they'd like to do the Beta testing. The later they're chosen the better the game they get to test.

The early testers don't actually have to be that good because the early problems will be the obvious ones. The closer to release it gets the harder to find the problems become. The really good beta testers should wait until a month or two before launch.
