LOCO fills the gap between the RPG, MMO, and 3rd-person shooter genres, combining these three game types in a very unique way. Some features are a bit similar to features of DOTA-style games, but the majority of LOCO is a combination of MMO and 3rd-person shooter elements.
During matches, each player has to earn experience and gold by fighting both enemies and hostile heroes. They are then able to buy temporary items (which only work during the current match) and upgrade heavy weapons, buildings, and strategically important points.
Success takes a high level of tactical skill and perfect teamwork, as LOCO is an extremely fast-paced game. Players will constantly have to readjust their strategies in response to hostile activities, providing them with the same action-oriented gameplay they'd find in the latest 3rd-person shooters.
