SAN FRANCISCO - June 4, 2010 - The once peaceful and serene island of Corsica has become a war ravaged battleground. The Anubian troops are storming the town of North Beach in Sparkplay Media's 3D massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG), Earth Eternal, and the local militia needs support in securing the island from this dastardly threat of invasion. Players are beseeched to answer the Corsican's cries for help by taking to the fight with newly constructed Catapults to launch devastating blows to the Anubian ships looming off the coast of the island to slow the advancing threat.

Imaginative quests to assist the citizens of Corsica: One unlucky farmer has lost his flock of chickens in the chaos of the impending battle and has tasked players with helping him herd the chickens back inside the city gates. Players can use a variety of tactics to round up the unruly birds - threaten them, cajole them, even kick them into submission (just don't tell PETA)!
Join forces with a mysterious magician: Merlin is up to his old tricks, deep in the forests of Corsica, experimenting on local wildlife and fauna to produce stunning new results. He's calling on adventurers to aid him in his enigmatic enterprises - we can't give away his top-secret plans, but Merlin always has a few intriguing tricks up his sleeve.
Get a first glimpse of the long-awaited Player vs Player (PvP) system: Yes, the rumors are true, PvP is almost here! The PvP system will be previewed in the new patch update. Player feedback will be crucial to the official implementation, so Sparkplay invites Earth Eternal fans to test out the system by visiting Arena Masters in Camelot, Bremen and Heartwood, who will transport them to the combat arena. There are two separate arenas where players will be placed into competitive shards, based on their current level, for Free-for-All melees. There will also be a new forum opened just for PvP suggestions and discussions.
