From the comments to the part 1 interview of Tera's future plan, we can feel players' great enthusiasm. With so firm fan-based support, TERA should make it a bit more engaging at some point. Q11. The item types seem restricted. Any improvements in this respect?
The most important improvement is: each kind of item will be divided into 4 categories. And players will be able to combine the items or enhance the item attributes. They can obtain various items from the hunting fields, dungeons, instances or quests etc., and enhance the items by use of crystals.
Q12. Will the items have more different looks?
We only added new equipment during development. Recently, we've planned to integrate more colors and looks for the equipment. A larger number of items with more different looks will meet the audience in the future game version.
Q13. As we know, the named monsters drop items that are the same as those dropped by most common monsters. Will you adjust this point?
The previous answer may answer you. In CBT3, due to the restricted variety of items, there're surely not many different kinds of items dropped from the monsters. The future version will make it possible for the named monsters to drop many different kinds of high-grade items, which can enrich the hunting fun effectively.
Q14. The present crafting process is too difficult and players have to spend much time collecting crafting materials. How can players craft items more efficiently?
The crafting system plays an important role in TERA. We'll make the crafting easier step by step. The item attributes will be randomly attached during the crafting process.
Q15. Will it be made available for players to buy items from the intermediary center successfully, even when the item sellers are offline?
In CBT3, with the feature of direct transactions removed, we found that indirect transactions would bring inconvenience. So, we'll improve both types of transactions to better serve the players.
