Two months ago when AoC Game Director Craig Morrison talked about this system, and he emphasized that this is designed as a small bonus to subscribers and they don't encourage players to use this system to level a character that never login to maximum. But if you want to do that it will take you 200 days to automatically level a level 30 characters to level 80.

Players always complain about AoC's lacking of content, now since Rise of the Godslayer hasn't been release, this may be Funcom's method to reduce the difficulty to level. But for players who create new characters and don't want to touch the quests again, they may love this system to level their new characters.
