The King of Fighter's World Storyline Revealed

Action MMO KOF World, which is being developed by SNK Playmore, the developer of previous KOF series has recently unveiled its main PVE storyline. Orochi's shadow representing the will of earth is going to approach again. Mr. Jinzenjin, producer of SNK Playmore told that self consciousness could be found in KOF World and players would act as a young person loving KOF.

Orochi: the final Boss in KOF '97 with the strongest power running through the whole KOF cultures. Actually, Orochi existed prior to the presence of the world. As humans became more and more self-interested, Orochi turned to be the strongest and most vicious enemy in front of humans. Orochi was on behalf of the earth's will, also meant the existence of deity in KOF world. Finally, it was sealed by Iori Yagami, Kyo Kusanagi and Chizuru Kagura together.

The game will continue KOF's storyline and whether the Orochi will revive has drawn much attention from players.

The story in KOF World happened after the Nests Organization was disbanded and Mukai was defeated. The King of Fighters tournament once was the most popular activity worldwide. Fighters from all over the world extremely expected its opening, but all governments banned it for a long time because it had created chaos every time. Thus, the heroes of KOF were gradually forgotten. However, the sealed power was just like a hidden treasure, some ambitious people always coveted to explore and utilize it.

Years later, a combat simulation system called The King of Fighters-Card Battle (Short for KOF-CB) became popular. KOF-CB allowed users to partake in a simulated KOF tournament through virtual reality technology and no damage would be caused upon participants. Therefore, it became a kind of fashionable sports accross the world soon and its distributor earned enormous profits on account of it. Nevertheless, troubles arose in every corner of the world, such as violence, missing persons and so on. It seemed that all incidents were related to KOF-CB. Entrusted by the International Security Organization, the mercenary team began to conduct an investigation under the lead of Captain Heidern. The former heroes also secretly left for the cradle of KOF-CB: KOF City.
