TERA's 3rd closed beta test has successfully come to an end in Korea. In comparison with the 2nd CBT, more game contents and systems have been replenished this time. Graphical Optimization and Different Graphical Performances

It can be said that TERA has top-class graphics among the current MMORPGs and its graphics have been optimized again in the 3rd CBT. Nevertheless, such magnificent graphics seem meaningless for players who have low-end computers. Notable results have not been achieved in terms of graphical optimization, for GeForce 7600 is still required at least.

To a great extent, TERA employs a lighting technique to augment exposure effects, thus the game graphics will be displayed differently according to different computers. The best graphics cannot be demonstrated until the lighting effect is enabled. However, a large proportion of computer resources will be occupied if all game effects are activated, as a result, the computer will run slowly. Likewise, as long as players turn off the lighting, the splendid graphics will disappear, as well. The reason is that the shutdown of lighting effects will weaken the sense of third dimension and quality. In point of this, players have to possess a high-performance computer if they want to acquire the best gaming experience from TERA.
