Wayi Entertainment, a game publisher in Taiwan, announced today that the company has obtained the publishing rights for Bounty Hounds Online in Taiwan from XPEC Entertainment. XPEC has developed Bounty Hounds Online with Namco Bandai Games since three years ago. Feature Sci-fi themes and robotic pets transform, Bounty Hounds Online was inspired by massive piracy of the original Bounty Hounds on PSP.

Aaron Hsu, XPEC Chairman, hope that the game's themes will appeal to western audiences, but will be content if the game simply does well in China, where he says "we have those many illegal downloaders to act as our product base." Bounty Hounds Online is due out in Q2 of 2010 in Taiwan, with a Western release not yet confirmed.
