Nexon Announces Compensation for Mabinogi: Heroes Frequent Maintenance

According to our last report for Nexon's most anticipated action MMO, Mabinogi: Heroes irritates players, this was due to the time-restricted non-free items being sold combined with the frequently conducted server maintenance. Recently, Nexon has responded to this issue and announced that they will let the players who've bought those items to enjoy them for an additional length of time, 3 times the duration of maintenances conducted, if they conduct any temporary maintenance without any prior announcement or the maintenance lasts longer than expected.

Nexon said that temporary maintenance is for providing a more stable service to players. The developers will try their best to create a good game environment for all Mabinogi: Heroes players in the future.

Mabinogi: Heroes Introduction

Mabinogi: Heroes shares the same world view with Mabinogi which was developed by DevCat Studio three years ago, but its style and gameplay are totally different from Mabinogi. In April 2007, this MMORPG was announced for the first time with the title of Project Heroes, but now its name has officially been changed to Mabinogi Heroes. Mabinogi Heroes uses the Source game engine which was also used by Half-Life 2 and Counter Strike.
