NetEase has recently announced on World of Warcraft China's official site that they will soon apply to the General Administration of Press and Publication of the PRC for the publication of The Burning Crusade, an expansion of WoW.

Such info was disclosed by NetEase in an announcement related to an in-game event of Chinese WoW. According to the disclosed info, NetEase will block the new user registration temporarily and give the old users another 3 hours' free gaming time per day during the week between Feb. 8 and Feb. 14.

Developed and published by Activision Blizzard, the online game WoW has released two great expansions so far, namely, The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King. Its second expansion has almost come to an end in North America, Europe and Taiwan etc.

Though NetEase is only to apply for the publication of The Burning Crusade and the third expansion of WoW – Cataclysm is about to debut, such news still indicates that the dispute between NetEase and related Chinese government authorities has drawn to a close. No matter who wins at last, keeping up with the rest of the world earlier is nevertheless a good thing for Chinese WoWers.
