APB: All Points Bulletin

From David Jones, the creator of the original Grand Theft Auto, comes an inspired online game where various thugs and criminals gather together to carry out their dirty deeds as well as fight against the Enforcers, a local faction on the side of law. How is it different?

  • Up to a hundred players will be given an instanced version of San Paro, their own city to run loose in. If you thought GTA 4 multiplayer sounded fun, wait till you get your hands on this.
  • APB's fame system tracks the progression of a player and his actions throughout the game and assigns a rank. This rank will be used to pit players of similar skill against each other in order to create a dynamic situation where neither side is overpowered, thus ensuring conflict feels intense and balanced at the same time. The various league tables will only encourage competition and further player involvement.
  • APB's customization system is one of most advanced tools seen in an online game to date. According to the developers, "…every player can create a unique character with a level of detail unparalleled in other games. And customization doesn't stop at physical appearance. Clothing, body art and vehicles can all be customized using symbols created by the players themselves in our symbol editor. Successful players are rewarded with greater ability to customize so the better you are at the game, the better you'll look."
  • APB allows players to choose their own soundtrack to the adventure! Over 100 tracks have been licensed to the game as well as the included in-game music editor. You can import your own music files into APB or even license your own tune if you have the skills and talent.
