Aion 2.0 is Coming out in February (Update: Not Accurate, Says NCsoft)

Rumor says AION 2.0 will come out in February, 2010. NCsoft confirmed with us that as of this posting no official announcement has been made in regards to Aion 2.0. And as for the Aion Gstar trailer, it represents the vision for Aion, nothing specifically related to Aion 3.0.

In 2009, Aion caught nearly every gamer's eyes with its launch in West, and we know NCsoft will keep on fueling this game in 2010 with two expansions - Aion 2.0 & Aion 3.0. Supposing both of these updates can achieve worldwide success, Aion would be another long-lasting MMOG of NCsoft after Lineage and Lineage II.

According to Aion Korea’s site, V2.0 will come out in February, 2010. We can already see that V2.0 has become a major topic of discussion on Korean Aion forum. However we have not gotten any English news about Aion 2.0 yet. So this update may probably arrive in the Korean test server first as usual.

Early today, Ben posted a piece of unofficial news which revealed the content of Aion 2.0 on our forum. It said that Aion 2.0 will raise the level cap to level 55, add new dungeons and items and improve the game’s graphics. You can read the full article through the link below:
