"N.E.O", the short form of "New Era Odyssey", shows us that N.E.O Online is all about a new gaming world. According to the game's developer Sonov, many bugs found in the game previously have been fixed and various interesting systems have also been integrated, so as to perfect the game development and provide an enjoyable gaming atmosphere. Sonov hopes more players can jump into the N.E.O world and present valuable suggestions.

N.E.O Online displays a medieval fantasy style, and endows players with great freedom. That is, players can not only choose classes as they like, but also apply various weapons and production skills (e.g. herb gathering, fishing, cooking and mining) freely. Besides, players are allowed to change the world settings via the Fair Stone, which can help adjust monsters' attacks and loot drop rate, items' prices in the store, etc.
A total of 5 different battle modes will be made available in N.E.O Online, i.e. "PvP" that allows players to compete with each other, "PK" designed for those reaching a certain level, "Team Wars" conducted through events, "Guild Battles" where guilds fight against each other and "Territorial Wars" where players fight to occupy a certain region.

N.E.O Online will even encourage players to train their skills online. Any team that consecutively attacks monsters for a certain length of time will enjoy a higher level and a higher loot drop rate, and will also have its members' EXP increased. But it's still unknown whether and how much this setting will affect solo players. The answers can only be got after we test the game.
