The Secret World
The main reason why The Secret World stands here is just its "secrets".
Secret Background:
In The Secret World set in a modern city filled with buildings, ancient devils are wakened and human beings bearing special power stand out to fight against them. With an extremely complicated gaming world, the game is developed in combination with the Bible, myths and mystery stories of many European schools. So far, 3 playable classes in the game have been unveiled, i.e. Templar using guns, Illuminati with magic power and Dragon apt at melee combats. Essentially, the 3 classes stand for three respective cultures, habits and beliefs.
Secret Scenes:
Different from the previous works of Funcom, The Secret World is set in a "real world" (e.g. London, New York and Seoul) where there're still supernatural things. Ragnar once showed an internal video that the development team used to inspire themselves and confirm the development direction. Vampires, Merovingian kings, Stonehenge, even the sun-god are involved in this video. These may not appear in the game finally, but Funcom hopes such thing can help bring forth good ideas hidden deeply in their heads.
But it's not that the game just evolves in different cities like London, New York and Seoul. As for the in-game scenes, The Secret World's creator Ragnar Tørnquist said: "Yes, it certainly will (have more cities besides London, New York), but it won't be limited to just that. We have more interesting locations but they won't be limited to just our world. We will be including locations throughout time and space itself."

Conclusions
On the whole, 2010 will be an exciting year. Games of relatively high quality to be launched in Jan. like Global Agenda and Star Trek Online all bear extremely impressive gameplay. EA's APB is also expected to show itself this summer vocation. Players may have to wait for a longer time before the Korea-made game C9 debuts, since this game is being challenged by some serious problems. Though the official company doesn't clearly explain what the problems are, we can still find that actions in the game are not well rendered in the full-view 3D mode and related PC system requirements are also very high. In this respect, the company will make further adjustments, so as to have the game reach the standards for open beta.
In all, with the popularization of next-gen concept and the growing technical power of game producers, the MMO market in the year 2010 will be quite stirring and deserve your anticipation as well.
