The Japenese cartoon and video game model toys are always expensive things. This time Kotaku shows a Gundam statue made of red wood and, the price is incredibly 1069 US$. The Zaku II statue was designed by famous toy-making team Plex, carved with red wood and sold by robot company Bullmark. I have to say, for Japanese otakus, this is work of art.
Back to 2007, another wooden Gundam RX-78-2 was sold in the shop, the price was 420 US$, though much more cheaper than the former one, it's still for rich otaku only.
