Riot Games is kicking off this holiday season with its first annual League of Legends Snowdown Showdown winter festival. From December 16, 2009 to January 6, 2010, Riot is offering limited edition in-game content for the recently launched PC game, to commemorate the holiday festivities.
Some of the special themed content includes a holiday variation of the game map, festive Champion skins, seasonal Runes and joyful consumable items.
Map: The winter map will be replaced with Snowdown Rift, a seasonal variant of the winter version of Summoner's Rift that includes many holiday elements.
