Seong Chan Lee, once a developer from Nexon, entered Nexon in 1997 and engaged in the plan of BnB. He left Nexon later and founded a new game development company called Wizet, in which the great project - MapleStory was created.
Nexon took over two companies successively and Seong Chan Lee returned.
Kim Jung Joo, CEO of Nexon, took over Seong Chan Lee's Wizet after the big success of MapleStory. And after a short rest, Seong Chan Lee established another new company - Symmetric Space.
Tenvi, being operated by NEOWIZ Games, is a new project made by Symmetric Space. Though NEOWIZ Games purchased the copyright of Tenvi at a relatively high price, this game still hasn't brought a good business in South Korea as expected, which is somewhat a shame for Seong Chan Lee. With Nexon purchasing all the stocks of Symmetric Space, the latter became a branch of Nexon and Seong Chan Lee came back to Nexon.
Seong Chan Leewill take charge of Wizet.
Seong Chan Lee will serve as the director of Nexon's development department and manage Wizet he founded. According to Nexon, Seong Chan Lee will be responsible for many new projects' development in Wizet. But details about the new projects are still unavailable for they haven't been unveiled to related staff so far. However, Nexon expressed that Seong Chan Lee would take charge of the development of MapleStory's related sequels.
