Upcoming 3D Zombie MMO - EV6

EV6 is an upcoming 3D Zombie MMORPG. It says on the official site that there are only 192 days left before the Echo 6 infection release. We have no idea about the gameplay and graphic yet. However, the Zombie theme has caught my eyes to follow it.

Game Overview

A Zombie MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) with players all over the world. Peaceful earth in the start, The Echo 6 virus infects the world, and in 3 months the world is overrun with zombies. This will form the opening screens and set the scene for the overall game. The objective of the game will be outlined within the initial opening video movie.

The story starts with an asteroid that hits the Earth and lands in the water infecting the water supply. Due to photosynthesis, the rain and other water is contaminated and therefore starts infecting all the Earth's population through drinking water, water pipes, showers; anything that brings a human in contact with the water.

Once word spreads of the outburst, panic is stricken worldwide. There are queues of cars trying to get to safer places, rushes of people running to safety, people breaking into supermarkets to grab whatever they can to feed off for the next few days.

Game Objective

The objective of the game is to prevent being infected. The zombies are those who have already been infected. These zombies infect others by biting them and infecting their blood. Players don't become zombies if bitten; rather they are slowed down and lose life unless they get to a safe house where they can re-spawn. The players have to kill the zombies in order to increase their experience level and their skill level. They are able to increase their character level, hold better weapons, learn more skills, gain more strength, agility and learn how to defend themselves better over the course of the game.

And according the rumors, EV6 is holding out for some totally new features to the gaming scene. One of which is a whole world interactive map that will be scaled using GoogleMaps API.
