The suit alleges that Sony is violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by failing to implement features to make its games accessible to visually impaired gamers.

Unlike gamer Brandon Cole, who got THQ's letter back thanking his letter suggesting changes to make Smackdown series of WWE wrestling games more accessible to the blind. Stern was perplexed with the poor navigation system in Sony's game and SOE even acted like a blind one who can not see repeated requests through postal mail and e-mail to come up with reasonable modifications to its games to make them more accessible. May this suit specifiy the ways in which other companies have made their games accessible.

Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is a game development and game publishing division of Sony that is best known for creating massively multiplayer online games, including EverQuest, EverQuest II, The Matrix Online, PlanetSide, Star Wars Galaxies, Free Realms, and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.
