Torchlight was made by former Blizzard developers and thus has a strong Diablo style. It's inevitable that people will compare it with Diablo series. The point-and-click gameplay, randomly generated items and maps, flooded monsters, and exciting strike, most elements of the game is based on the settings and rules of Diablo series.
