1. I'm glad to do this opportunity to make an interview with you. Firstly, could you give us a brief introduction about Fantasy Tennis Season 2?
Alaplaya: Fantasy Tennis Season 2 is a free-to-play sports MMO with a twist. Standard tennis rules can be used, but the real core of Fantasy Tennis lies in the Battle mode which lets players combine racket skills with powerful spells. Players do damage by winning points, hurling fireballs, calling down meteor storms, and generally wreaking havoc on the court. The last one standing wins the match!
Fantasy Tennis also features a variety of Bosses to challenge, Battlemon pets to help out in doubles matches, and plenty of chances to earn fame and glory in Tournament play.

2. Compared with Fantasy Tennis, what's new in Season 2?
Alaplaya: The biggest change in Season 2 was that it made Fantasy Tennis a truly worldwide game, launching in North and South America for the first time. A number of specific changes also took place, of course, including updates to the user interface, improved opponent AI, and the addition of the Heroic System which raised the level cap from 50 to 60.
3. Do you like tennis? I'm curious to know why you chose tennis for the game instead of other sports.
Alaplaya: Many of us do enjoy tennis, but that's not the only reason we chose it. Tennis is a globally recognizable sport that translates really well into fun gameplay, so it gave us lots of room to add new features that made the game even more exciting. It was also ideal for the art style we had in mind. We love the way Fantasy Tennis turned out, so I definitely think we made the right decision.

4. Can a player who never plays tennis before pick up the game easily?
Alaplaya: Absolutely. The game is based on the core rules of tennis, but we made sure to focus on the fun side of the sport instead of the technical side. Players who have real-life experience may have a slight edge, but they're definitely not the only ones who'll have fun.
5. How did you manage to retain the basic rules of tennis as well as add so many funny skills into the game?
Alaplaya: Striking a balance between the essentials of tennis and the power of the magic system was the hardest part of developing Fantasy Tennis. We put a lot of time and effort into making sure that each and every magical skill made the game more fun without taking away from what makes tennis a fantastic sport. For example, the meteor storm does more than just do damage to an opponent. It's also a great way to make someone lose track of the ball, providing you with the opportunity for a winning down-the-line shot.

6. As a free-to-play MMO, the game's future in MMOG market?
Alaplaya: We're very optimistic about Fantasy Tennis' future. Free-to-play games are really starting to catch on worldwide, largely because players are able to decide if a game is fun before they commit to a purchase. We've think we've got a great game, and we are confident that players who give it a try will really enjoy themselves.
7. Will the game be launched in other countries? Do you have any plan about it?
Alaplaya: Fantasy Tennis is currently available to players in Europe, Asia, North America, and South America. We don't have any other specific launch plans at the moment, but we definitely want players from every corner of the globe to be able to join in the fun.
