Testing Platform:
CPU: Quad-Core Q6600 2.4G
Memory: 4G
Graphic Card: 8800GT
Running: With the default settings (special effects set as "Medium") not changed, I entered the TERA world and found it ran not that smoothly with 30-40 FPS according to eye measurement. All this just happened in the newbie village where there're not so many players. Imagine how things will go when a large-scale war is ignited in the future. How can such war go smoothly without a competent and powerful PC?

The login screen resembles those of NCsoft's games, e.g. Aion very much.
Gaming Mode
Action games usually offer Room gaming mode, which is also what players think of most of the action games. We can say that action games like DNF, C9, Dragon Nest and Mabinogi: Heroes all integrate the Room mode.
Outdoor maps are also featured in TERA, and the in-game stories mainly take place in outdoor areas. This game can be said to be the sole action RPG featured mainly on outdoor content in the game history.

Graphics
With the application of Unreal Engine 3, TERA presents the audience with glaring and natural graphics, as well as delicate and impressive characters.
Another important thing that I have to point out is that the sexy female characters in TERA are rendered perfectly, which are also one of the most charming female character series I've ever seen.
Action
As a game with non-targeting combat mode, TERA requires players to determine the attacking range via their own senses before they perform attacks.
What the bar on top of the screen shows is the HP status of the player, not that of the monster.
TERA also introduces the concept of "knocking down", which means that one can be knocked down after repeated and heavy strikes. The attacker can still attack the foe having been knocked down. To dodge, players can only rely on their own control.
Perform a somersault to avoid the opponent's attacks.

Totally non-targeting gaming mode
6 Races and 8 Classes
Till now, 6 races and 8 playable classes have been made available in TERA. After all, they can be summarized under 4 categories: Warrior, Mage, Assassin and Long-distance class.
Here, I won't introduce the classes one by one. I will only tell something about the features of each class.
