MMOsite: Hi~ we are so glad to have this interview with you. How is everything going on in Dragon Oath? Your CBT Keys are very popular on our site.
Progress on Dragon Oath is going very well. We're seeing constant growth in our forum community and the launch of closed beta has given us a huge amount of growth in our player base. We are extremely happy to see that many users on MMOSITE.com are interested in Dragon Oath. We highly encourage you to join Closed Beta because there will be no deletion of characters after this phase. Also, we are giving out $25 valued "Novice Gift Pack" to all Closed Beta
participants!
MMOsite: Before going into any more details, could you briefly explain about "Novice Gift Pack"?
Sure. "Novice Gift Pack" is a promotional free item package that we have prepared for all of Closed Beta. Even if all of data including characters and accounts will not be wiped after Closed Beta, wehave prepared some free gifts to all participants. This package is a great one. The most important and special matter about this gift is that they will be receiving countless items throughout a life of their first character. To make everyone understand better, I will explain what players receive if they joined Closed Beta today. When they first join Dragon Oath, they will see 7 items on their item box; Junior Cloth, Shoes, Gloves, Bandage,Travel bag, Grid Box and Manual. These items will enable players to fight with high level monsters, and obviously they will be able to carry more items than they could. When players reach level 10, they will receive Luxury Blue Capsule and Silver Gourd. These items will enable them to heal themselves faster and increase the speed of levelling up. When players reach level 15, they will receive Egg: Squirrel. Once they receive this item, they will be able to raise squirrels as their pets. At the level 20, players will receive Pet Life Tonic which increases the HP of pets and at the level 25, Mount: Ostrich. At the level 35, players will receive Dragon Sphere which is one of the crucial items in Dragon Oath along with more Blue Capsules. When players reach level 40, they will receive Gem Socket Spells, Ruby and other valuable items that will help players in creating excellent weapons. At the level 45, all players will receive Physical Ark SS and Baby Pet Book and at the level 50, players will receive Savvy Bone Pill. Again, these items will be provided for all of Closed Beta participants without any exception!
MMOsite: I think players whoever tried this game or not must be very interested in the 9 classes in Dragon Oath, can you firstly give us a brief introduction about your class system?
The class system in the game is very special because each class has their own life skills in addition to their unique combat skills along with their unique towns where they receive their quests and train to learn those unique skills. The 9 classes are Shaolin (The Iron Defender), Beggars Alliance (The Lion-Hearted Crusader), Assassin (The Silent Executioner), Taoist (The Noble Conqueror), Lotus Order (The Spirit Guardian), Royalty (The Enfeebling Imperial), Minstrel (The Proficient Saboteur), Pyromancer (The Fiery Warblade) and finally, Voodoo (The Sadistic Enforcer). All 9 classes in the game are each focus on a specific type of combat as well as a specific elemental force, which can make PvP encounters and events very engaging and strategic. There is a trailer that we have released to briefly introduce each class on MMOSITE.com. All users are welcomed to watch it to have a sense about each of 9 classes and the atmosphere of towns for each class as well.
MMOsite: How do you make a balance among the 9 classes? Do you have any plan on a new class?
9 Classes are from the main novel called "Tian Long Ba Bu" which is also the basic foundation of the storyline of Dragon Oath. The only way that we were able to bring a balance between diverse classes was through countless of testing. We have spent over a half year just to bring a balance between 9 classes. Because of the various different types of weapons or armors that each class uses along with unique skills, we had to operate tests after tests to bring a balance. Our current Closed Beta participants along with Pre-Closed Beta participants are happy to experience the highly balanced class system that Dragon Oath offers.
MMOsite: Beginners may feel confused on class choosing, can you give us some tips?
It really depends on what players prefer. If you enjoy a defensive play-style then you'll gravitate more towards the Shaolin class. They have the most HP and they are stacked with abilities to keep them alive no matter what the odds may be. If you enjoy a tactical and crafty play-style, you'll like Minstrel. They have a multitude of traps that they can set to do massive damage to their enemies. I won't spoil the abilities of the other classes for you, but you can get a general breakdown of each class in the game when you hit level 10.
