Neutral Quests
These quests can be completed by either faction.
Quest: Jack Likes His Drink
Rewards: For this easy task, you'll receive over 9 gold and over 15 thousand experience.
Description: Scalawag Point is full of pirates, vagabonds, and no-good fellows. Part of your duties as a hero of Azeroth and Outland puts you in charge of debt collection around the small village. Taruk, a rather mean looking Tauren, needs you to collect the gambling debt from the pirates. Jack Adams is the second debt you collect for Taruk. It's an easy task.
Why it's fun: If bribing wenches and watching an NPC vomit before passing out is your idea of fun, then this quest if perfect for you. It is more humorous, that as a high-level hero, you're asked to go debt collecting. Your next quest is as a repo man!
Quest: Sorlof's Booty
Rewards: You get over 15 thousand experience and 300 reputation with The Kalu'ak.
Description: Board the ship and wait for it to sail in front of Sorlof. The NPCs on the ship will engage him and that's your cue to fire "The Big Gun." Once Sorlof is dead, jump off the ship and grab the booty! Wait for the ship to dock again and turn in this quest.
Why it's fun: There is a cannon called "The Big Gun." Not to mention, I want a boat in WoW and this is the closet you'll get to having one.
Quest: The Assassination of Harold Lane
Rewards: Kill Harold Lane and receive a blue ring, over seven gold, and 500reputation with the Cenarion Expedition. This is also the final quest you need to complete in order to receive the D.E.H.T.A.'s Little P.I.T.A. achievement.
Description: Arch Druid Lathorius at the D.E.H.T.A. outpost wants you to kill Harold Lane. D.E.H.T.A. has asked you to take care of the wildlife in Howling Fjord for quite some time now. After completing many quests for them, they've found the source of the animal slaughter to be Harold Lane. The suggested players on this is three, but fewer can complete it. Find Harold Lane near the lake just sound of Amber Ridge. He's a 72 elite so be sure to blow the horn the Arch Druid gave you.
Why it's fun: Watching Harlod Lane get trampled by the wildlife is poetic animal revenge. When you blow the Cenarion Horn the stampede will arrive and take about 50% of Harold's health with them. This can miss if Harold throws a trap at you and then moves.
Alliance Quests
These quests are for Alliance characters only.
Quest: Let's Go Surfing Now
Rewards: You receive 2000 experience and a little faction with the Valiance Expedition.
Description: This quest is the last in a large chain. It begins with the quest "The Path to Payback" that starts with Guard Captain Zorek in Valgarde. After several quests leading up to harpoon surfing you're finally able to ride the flaming harpoon.
Why it's fun: You ride a flaming harpoon and it looks pretty sweet. It is worth surviving through the six or so other quests to get to "Let's Go Surfing Now."
