Quest System-Expose the Original Splendid World in Front of Us
As mentioned before, the storyline of Dragon Ball Online is unfolded by the quest system. We cannot read Korean, so we could only get to know its backdrop in the process of playing the game.
As soon as a character is created, the story will begin from an instance zone -Kame House. When players have completed the first newbie quests, a gang of mysterious Super Saiyans will launch a surprise attack, and then Trunks will appear to beat them back. After that, Trunks will lead players to step on a time machine and enter the future era which is far from the original background. Different races will be sent to their own birthplaces throughout the earth.
A lot of Quest NPCs are located near the character's birthplace and players will begin their journey from these quests. The same as other online games, there are marks above the NPCs whom you can acquire quests from or submit quests to. There are obvious marks in the map indicating their locations, as well.
The quests are featured with rich contents, for instance, kill a certain number of designated monsters; transport goods, collect items or beat down elite monsters and so on. When players are doing a killing quest, the active region of corresponding monsters will be displayed in the map automatically, which is very convenient.
