Just Enjoy NOVA 2 When StarCraft II may be Unavailable in 2010!

Korean MMORTS NOVA1492 A.R. has a sequel now. It's NOVA 2 from CJ Internet. The OPEN BETA has been launched in Korea on August 18th. NOVA2 is also developed by NOVA1492 A.R.(Screenshots)'s maker ARAMARU.

StarCraft, a RTS game made by Blizzard, is hailed as the pioneer in the e-Sports industry in Korea. And now, it’s very unlikely that the sequel of StarCraft - StarCraft II (Windows/Macintosh) will be launched in 2010. But MMORTS NOVA 2, which seems to take the place of StarCraft II, is just gathering steam.

In NOVA 2, players are allowed not only to customize their robots, but also to take advantage of the interesting splicing & transformation system and various combat skills while carrying out combats. This game focuses on the craft and combat systems, and pays less attention to something like resource management and R&D of infrastructure construction. NOVA 2 also features a special “WATT Auto-charging System”, which allows players to fuel various parts of their characters. All parts of each robot can just be upgraded via combats, and as the level goes up, different kinds of skills are able to be trained in. Moreover, besides robots, battleships acting as mobile bases can also be upgraded.
