German players protest march
If there has a group of players poorer than Chinese WoW players, they must be German players. In 2009 LAN events, German Government bans violent games including counter-strike & WoW. This move comes on the heals of a string of violent school shootings.

They have mostly gone unexplained and that is the reason the Government decided to step in. Different local governments in Germany have decided to BAN all "killer" games at LAN events. This sadly has lead to the cancellation of multiple ESL Friday Night games, and it has now claimed the Convention-X-Treme tournament.

But this would certainly lead to players' unsatisfaction. Some gentle players tried to look for a place to host their 400-people WoW lan party although such a spare room is nearly impossible to find(Jun 5,2009) .While up to 400 players choose to stage protest march against government crackdown on violent games(Jun 9,2009) . As I post this, more than 65,000 German gamers petitioned their government to stop censoring violent games.

At long last a petition against videogame bans in Germany is online. One can sign the petition here. To watch the development of the petition one can look here.
