Kru Interactive announced the open beta release of Robo Smasher recently. This is a free online multi-player game that combines third-person shooter action with block-moving strategy. The game has a cartoon theme that is suitable for players of all ages.

You can battle in up-to-6-person matches controlling an avatar piloted robot (mechro). The goal of each match is to knockout or smash the opponent. You can knockout an opponent using your punch cannons or instantly smash them by strategically moving surrounding blocks. There are many more ways to knockout and smash, it is up to you to decide the best strategy.

As you level up and earn game money (Qros), you can fully customize your avatar to your own style. You can also upgrade your mechros making them more powerful in battle.

Robo Smasher Crossover Event with Current Kru Games

Robo Smasher has officially launched into Open Beta. To promote the release of Kru抯 new game, Kru will be hosting a Crossover Event with its current games. To participate in this event, players of existing games just need to create a Robo Smasher character and play. Once your Robo Smasher character has reached level 15, you can get a reward based on which game you play by submitting your character for verification. A website will soon be available so you can submit your Robo Smasher character.

Rewards are:
* Nexus: 1000 Kruna (one per account)
* Dark Ages: 1000 Kruna (one per account)
* Shattered Galaxy: Special medal and 200 uranium (one per character)

Story

In a distant galaxy, two planets battle against each other in search for the precious eggro bean. These beans possess mystical powers that provide a reliable source of energy. The Auros, a peaceful race, have depleted their natural resources and must collect the beans to power their planet. The Nemos, an imperial war-like race, are collecting the beans to build a vast army of mechros in order to conquer the galaxy one planet at a time. The mechros are robotic machines that require eggro beans for power and upgrades. Forces from both sides have been sent to collect the beans from specific planets like the Jungle Planet, Treasure Planet, Ice Planet, and the Ghost Planet.
