EA announced that they have combined its BioWare and Mythic studios in order to create a specific MMO/RPG group. Currently, Mythic is developing and taking charge of maintaince of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, BioWare still engages in Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect and MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. This newly formed group is to be led by Ray Muzyka, co-founder and former general manager of BioWare. In additional, Mark Jacobs, co-founder and general manager of Mythic, will be leaving his role with immediate effect. Mythic's Rob Denton - who previously ran the day-to-day management of the studio as its COO - will step up the role of Mythic general manager.
