The actions in Mabinogi: Heroes are not stunning nor chain attack oriented. Rather, it mainly focuses on the blocking of opponent's movement and action, and it highlights the realistic effects brought by using weapons (hook or spear) or other objects around the player to attack enemies.

What Mabinogi: Heroes tries to convey is the sense of reality, and a bloody and violent style.

[Dragon Nest]: Lovely yet Realistic and Smooth Action.

You can experience realistic and pleasant action not only when you're using skills but also when you're launching regular attacks, or fighting a monster. You'll attack the opponent taking advantage of terrain. The background graphics of the game are kind of fairy-tale. But stunning action is also one of its characteristics.

Unlike C9 and Mabinogi: Heroes, the AI controlled monsters in Dragon Nest are very intelligent.
In Dragon Nest, the monsters do not always charge straight toward the players (expect for Boss battle) like in the other two games. Instead, they will employ various strategies, like enclosing you, attacking you from the back unexpectedly, set magic traps, or cooperating with other creatures. It requires players to pay more attention to changes in the surrounding environment.

The position of the character is always slightly to the right of your viewing angle, which allows you to observe the character's actions more clearly.
