Ninjarantguy previously worked as a GM for a global MMO and is now trying his hand in writing while handling his own business.

Last June 15, 2009 the global server of the now defunct, Supreme Destiny online (SD), With Your Destiny (WYD) global, celebrated its 2nd year anniversary with a bang.

The GMs and CMs went all out with the celebration by giving players a ton of in-game events that vary from getting to kill your favorite (or most hated) GM to playing the bring me seek me event that the game has, a variation of hide and seek and bring me.

The game also had a fan sign event where players can submit fan signs showing how much they love the game that has been a part of their life for quite some time.

The event ended with a bang (literally) because the GMs unleashed a fireworks display that could really put anyone to tears especially if you were one of those players who dropped the local version of the game and eventually met up with the people you once played with.

On a side note, I find it surprising that a game like this has survived for two years in an industry that shifts every so often. The game lacks any graphical sophistication and the gameplay is totally linear, the only thing that keeps this game afloat is that the ties people have, most of the WYD players are came from a defunct SD server, therefore giving them at least something to hold on to.

Another thing is that the game has in its own way created such a community that you can immediately familiarize yourself because you are part of a guild that is made up of your country.
