As was voraciously reported last month, Ubisoft has officially announced the development of Assassin's Creed 2. Along with a new locale, main character (seen above), and plot line, there are a plethora of devices, skills, and mission types to be used and abused.

Ubisoft also launched an official website, attempting to titillate us further with its "Cloak & Dagger(s)" secrecy. After loading the site you are shown the most recent "Story" trailer which, among other things, outlines the era the game takes place in. The earlier Teaser trailer can also be viewed from the site, which you can select after the symbol to the left appears.

The intrigue surrounding the site is based upon a number of symbols including this first one. You will find that they can be used to unlock privileged info. For those wanting to view the unlocked secrets, everything will be revealed later in the article, but for those wishing to go through the proper steps on their own I will give fair warning when spoilers are ahead.
