Vice President of NCsoft said in the first quarter performance conference call held on May 11 that Guild Wars 2 is one of the MMORPGs which NCsoft is currently working to bring into single player version. This is the first time that NCsoft talked about the development of single-player version of Guild Wars 2 since the single-player version of Blade & Soul was confirmed under development.

According to Lee Ze Ho, Vice President of NCsoft, with Guild Wars 2 as the leading title, all development issues relating to the single-player versions of NCsoft's MMORPGs are under discussion. However, from the perspective of the development team, the feasibility study is still in progress, with the specific development work and launch schedule both not confirmed."

All things such as the development schedule and game information about Guild Wars 2, which are scheduled to be unveiled in the second half of 2008, are now going secretly. After releasing Eye of the North, the first expansion to Guild War, ArenaNet has centralized all development resources on Guild Wars 2.

In addition, among the restructured branches of NCsoft in North America and Europe, ArenaNet has been guaranteed strong support from the entire company. And Guild Wars 2 has become the second most anticipated project of NCsoft following Aion.
