Gaga Communications Inc. has announced that the live action movie Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li will start a national road show in Japan from February in 2009.
The actress of Chun-Li, Kristin Kreuk, is a half-caste with a Dutch father and a Chinese mother.
Heroine of TV drama 'Smallville'
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li chose the character Chun-Li from Street Fighter series (Capcom) as the heroine. The actress of Chun-Li, Kristin Kreuk is known for the performance of the heroine in TV drama Smallville. The movie is under production by the staff of The Matrix series.
In the film, Chun-Li used to be a happy girl and learned kung fu from her father. But after father kidnapped suddenly by some gangsters, Chun-Li was changed. For over 10 years she grew up with hard training about strength and capabilities to become a Street Fighter. To rescue her father Chun-Li confronts the criminal organization boldly in the movie.
