Another game company compromised to global financial crisis.
Age of Conan developer Funcom has confirmed the layoff rumor run in internet last weekend, according to Ten Ton Hammer.
The earlier rumor told that Funcom fired about 70% of their U.S. Workforce in Nov 22nd and the cuts were mostly in the Customer Service and Quality Assurance departments.
Here are the words that Funcom confirmed:
"We did have some staffing cuts at Funcom this week as well as new positions opening in the organization as part of our ongoing cost based efficiency and performance initiatives that are vital to any business."
It will be a cold winter for Age of Conan or even the industry.
