After months of online game tournaments nationwide, Amped ends the long "Road" to Amped Fest in a grand gaming event this November. The Road to Amped Fest was a series of road shows wherein the Amped Team went around the country - Metro Manila, Davao, Cebu, Bacolod, Cagayan De Oro and Baguio to filter out the best of the best in tournaments of the different Amped games - WarRock's JBlaze Cup, GetAmped's Sporty 3on3, Tantra's National Tournament and N-Age's NeoAge Challenge.
Now, together with Hero TV, Amped will hold the Hataw Hanep Hero: The AMPED Edition from November 21-22, 2008 at Silvercity, Frontera Verde in Pasig City.
Representatives from Northern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and Metro Manila will compete in the grand finals of tournaments of Tantra, WarRock, GetAmped and N-Age where prizes worth P500,000 are at stake.
There will also be dubbing challenges, battle of the bands, cosplay, streetdance and drawing competitions all courtesy of Hero TV.
Amped Marketing Head Agnes Tapia said that Amped has always been a major participant in the past Hataw Hanep Hero events the same way that Hero TV has been part of their gaming events.
She also said that both companies have the same patrons and that the event is a great way to feed their interest in both Anime and online gaming.
"This team up is sure to be a hit to all the gamers and anime aficionados out there. With tons of bands and cosplayers to keep the venue rocking, everyone is sure to have the best time," she stated.
With Amped officially on board, the Hataw Hanep Hero: The AMPED Edition will be bigger than ever before.
