A rumor resource from Newsweek told us that the big professional game show E3 2009 will be announced to be open to the public, which will take place at Los Angeles Convention Center by Entertainment Software Association during the first week of June, reported by 1up.
It's going to be the first time that E3 will officially open its doors to the public. On Friday June 5th and Saturday June 6th, the show floor will open up to the public after open to media and industry on Tuesday June 2nd, according to one of their source close to the process.
"It was a long journey to get there, politically," says our source. "After vehemently opposing a bigger show three years ago--to now go back to the board, admit a mistake, and advocate for a bigger show. It reflects well on the organization and the board to recognize they made a mistake and, regardless of how it would look publicly, go ahead and fix it." (via: Newsweek)
