FIRETEAM RELOADED AND ASHEN EMPIRES AWARDED AT IGF SHOWCASE
Named Austin#DY#s Best Multiplayer Arena Action Game and Fantasy MMORPG of 2008
Fireteam Reloaded and Ashen Empires won awards for best Multiplayer Arena Action PC game and Best Fantasy MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) at the Independent Games Festival held during the Austin Game Developer#DY#s Conference September 15 - 17, 2008. The titles, both distributed through the Pixel Mine Portal, were showcased during the conference with developers on hand to answer questions and demo the games.
"We#DY#re honored to be recognized as one of Austin#DY#s premier independent game developers," says David Reese, the president of Pixel Mine. Since the company was founded in March 2007, it has added four titles to the Pixel Mine Portal and plans to add more in the upcoming months.
