Activision has confirmed that StarCraft 2 won't be seeing the light of day this year. Blizzard co-founder Frank Pearce has said:"This year? Like, 2008? Too much work to do, we don't have a specific release date in mind yet. We still have too much work to do. "
We will be seeing StarCraft II sometime during 2009.
According to The StarCraft Wire, next year's offerings from Activision Blizzard should include highly anticipated PC strategy title StarCraft II, the sequel to one of the world's most enduringly popular games.
