While we#DY#ve already heard about the upcoming Knights of the Old Republic MMO, (Rumor: Star Wars: KotOR MMORPG Still On) there have been no official announcements regarding this new MMORPG from EA/Bioware. When it come to us? Until now, that is a matter attracts the most attention.
The latest news from TVG has revealed that this long-awaited MMO is being funded by EA and is due in 2010/11.
"It#DY#s giving us strong new entries in online. For example, we#DY#re funding the MMO in Austin, which is helping us a lot." He went on to state that the MMO is slated for fiscal 2010/11 (i.e. between April 1st 2010 and March 31st 2011).
The Knights of the Old Republic MMO is described as a role-playing game set in the historical past of the Star Wars universe. In KOTOR MMO, Jedi and Sith battle across the galaxy with the power of the Force and are joined by soldiers, politicians and nobles. Players must choose the destinies of heroes and villains in a thrilling and dangerous universe. The script goes on to show an exchange between the player and a character named Fuse, a naive bomb designer.
