FINAL FANTASY XI is the first massively multiplayer online role-playing game capable of simultaneous multiplayer across three different platforms, allowing players to take up arms together on the PlayStation 2 system, Window PC or Xbox 360. FINAL FANTASY XI was released in Japan for the PlayStation on May 16, 2002, and for Microsoft's Windows-based personal computers in November of 2002. It was localized and released for the North American market on October 28, 2003.The fourth expansion WINGS OF THE GODDESS, released in Japan and North America in November of 2007. This latest installment takes place in Vana'diel's turbulent past, leading adventurers through the mists of time and onto the stage of history itself. Players will discover forgotten jobs and encounter unfamiliar foes, exploring all-new areas, as well as locations they thought they knew...

MMOsite: While obtaining an item, we have to sort them manually so that the same type items can be stored together. Is it possible that you'll make it automatic?
This particular function has been requested many times by the community, and we are working diligently towards implementing it into the next version update.
Among several other reasons, we have avoided the implementation of this function in the past in order to prevent confusion for crafters¡ªitems carefully separated for synthesis would have been forcibly stacked. However, players will be provided with the option to deactivate automatic sorting as part of the new function we have planned.
MMOsite: Can you show all the stats of characters so we can check and see what our skill level is at? Right now we can only see the basic stats like CHR, MND, INT, Defense and Attack. However, some skills such as, magic attack bonus, magic defense, we cannot see directly from the window.
As with the calculations associated with each statistic, we have no plans to display values for every attribute at this time.

MMOsite: Can players export their chat log without using a 3rd party tool? You know many players really want to keep their good memories in Final Fantasy XI. And they also would like to see "Best conversation of the week" as well as "Best screenshot of the week" on the official site. Is there a possibility?
The user agreement prohibits the public release of player names and chat log content. While there are those who may wish to display such information, this rule has been put into place to protect players who prefer to keep their chat logs private. Sections of a chat log may also be intentionally used out of context, leading to cases of libel. We hope you appreciate the necessity of such a rule in order to promote a fun and carefree playing environment.
MMOsite: Here is a suggestion for you. The auto translation function in FFXI is great. But it will be perfect if all the quest and mission names can be found there.
Rather than a true translation function, the system in FFXI merely displays the word or phrase registered for that particular entry in each language. This "dictionary" has a limited capacity, and is expanded when new terms are introduced into the game.
While there may be instances where the perfect term or phrase is not available for player interaction, we continue to add the most commonly used words from all facets of the game as the need becomes apparent.
MMOsite: Does the development team already have an idea of how many Wings of the Goddess missions there will be? And will we get to possibly participate in the great battle of Tavnazia?
The Wings of the Goddess missions unfold alongside the episodic quests taking place in each of the three nations. This style of interlaced quest and mission lines is a first for FFXI, and will ultimately provide a substantial amount of adventuring content.
